Concentrator photovoltaic power stations are utilized in regions with high direct normal irradiance. Our ultra-durable, anti-reflective coating is extremely robust, making it well-suited even for desert-like regions. It can even withstand extreme environmental conditions such as sand and heat. TÜV Rhineland confirms the outstanding durability of our AR coating: The AR coating remained effective even after we simulated extreme desert conditions. For this reason, we have added the quality attribute “desert-ready” to our top product f | solarfloat HT.

Super flat and super strong

The precision and ideal flatness of the lens panels is decisive for the high degree of efficiency of concentrator photovoltaic modules. The lens panels must also withstand high wind loads without bending.

The thermal tempering of the glass is carried out by a cutting-edge and one-of-a-kind continuous flat tempering furnace platform that consistently achieves best results in terms of flatness and bending tensile strength.

Thermally tempered glass is available up to a size of 2,600 mm x 1,500 mm. The smallest size that can be produced is 500 mm x 490 mm.

Our glass coating and glass processing system is optimized for serial production of high quality thermally tempered glass. Our customers receive everything from one source: float glass production, glass coating and end-to-end glass processing including grinding and thermal tempering. Everything is highly automated, precise and efficient.
